I believe therapy is not about fixing what’s broken, it’s about creating a space where you feel safe enough to be seen, heard, and supported through life’s emotional complexities. Many of my clients come to me during turning points: navigating grief, burnout, anxiety, trauma, relationship changes, or identity shifts. In our sessions, we slow down together and make space for your feelings, your story, and your growth, at a pace that feels right for you.

I primarily use Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) in my work. EFIT helps us explore the deeper emotional patterns that shape how we relate to ourselves and others, while CBT offers practical strategies to manage unhelpful thought loops and emotional overwhelm. I also incorporate mindfulness and elements of Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) to help you stay grounded and build on your existing strengths. I’m currently expanding my practice to include Emotionally Focused Therapy for couples.

Over the past five years, I’ve worked with a wide range of clients, children, adolescents, adults, and families; across Australia and Malaysia. My counseling journey began at Wantirna College in Melbourne, where I supported students as a school counselor. Since returning to Malaysia, I’ve worked in private practice and school settings, including Stella Maris International School and Pusat Pertubuhan Destiny, a school and orphanage serving underprivileged youth. I also support neurodivergent children , especially those on the autism spectrum; not in a therapeutic role, but as a tutor, shadow aide, and emotional coach. In these roles, I work within ABA-informed environments to help children adapt to classroom routines, improve self-regulation, and build emotional and social skills in everyday contexts.

I hold three master’s degrees: a Master of Education and a Master of Counselling from Australia, and a Master of Professional Counselling from Malaysia to meet licensing standards. These experiences, coupled with my cross-cultural background, help me support clients from all walks of life; especially those navigating complex transitions, identity work, or emotional pain.

My work now spans a broad spectrum, from helping adults heal from past wounds or burnout, to supporting young people in resilience-building, and working with families adapting to neurodiversity. No matter who I work with, my priority is to offer a warm, grounded space where you feel understood and supported.

Outside of therapy, I stay grounded through music, reading, and pickleball, reminders of how important creativity, joy, and self-care are to our emotional lives. I bring that spirit into every session I hold.
