We often talk about healing, but it is not always clear what that truly means.

Healing is not about repairing something that is “broken.” Rather, it is a process of understanding our experiences, reconnecting with parts of ourselves that may have felt distant or overwhelmed, and creating space for new ways of being. This can include moving toward connection, developing a more grounded sense of self, and gently shifting patterns that no longer feel aligned with who we are becoming.

What patterns in your life are asking to be understood or changed?
And what might it be like to explore this with someone alongside you?

As a registered counsellor licensed by the Malaysian Board of Counsellors since 2024, I offer a space to support you in this process. I hold a Master’s degree in Professional Counselling from Monash University Malaysia, and my clinical experience spans psychiatric and rehabilitation settings, children and adolescent residential homes, juvenile detention centre, hospital setting, as well as universities and community counselling spaces. Working across these settings has shaped the way I sit with people; with an awareness that each person’s experiences, coping, and ways of relating are deeply shaped by what they have been through.

In my work, I support children, adolescents, and adults who are navigating trauma, intense emotions, and difficulties with regulation. Alongside this, I support individuals experiencing grief, addiction, and personality-related challenges, as well as those who find themselves caught in recurring patterns within their relationships or sense of self. While some come to therapy with a clear understanding of their struggles, others may feel confused, disconnected, or unsure of how to articulate their experiences. Wherever you find yourself, I support you in exploring and understanding these experiences in a way that feels manageable.

I draw on approaches such as Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), while staying attentive to how past experiences may continue to shape the present. At the same time, space is held for you to explore what feels most relevant and meaningful in your own way.

In our work together, therapy is a collaborative process, guided by a sense of safety and a pace that feels manageable for you. I aim to create a space that feels steady, respectful, and unhurried, where you can take your time to open up. Together, we explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences, supporting a deeper sense of grounding, stability, and meaning.

Vulnerability is not winning or losing; it’s having the courage to show up and be seen when we have no control over the outcome. Vulnerability is not weakness; it’s our greatest measure of courage”.
