I believe it is normal that all of us would get stuck in the realm of our personal problems at times, but we also have innate resilience to overcome our adversities which we may forget that we have. Seeking help may seem daunting at first but from past experiences of going through it myself, I found that it can be fulfilling and liberating at the end of the day. My previous counselling experience involved working with young adults alongside issues of stress, anxiety, loneliness, relationship concerns and many more. My theoretical orientation is geared towards Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy and Reality Therapy. However, I would also employ Person-Centered principles throughout my sessions to give you unconditional positive regard and empathy by putting myself in your shoes. My goal is to journey with you in the process of finding those resiliencies whilst providing emotional support and validation along the way. In doing so, I will provide a safe space for you to share with me your stories and listen without judgement.
