Popcorn

Popcorn is prepared in the same pot, under the same heat, in the same oil, but they don’t pop at the same time. 

You do not need to compare yourself to others who have popped earlier than you. After all, your turn to pop is coming!

Just because you’ve popped later than the rest, it doesn’t mean you’re less sweet or savoury. Who knows, you might even be the tastiest kernel.

Your story is unique and so different, that it is not worthy of comparison. Continue being you, and continue being patient. Just remember that the day you plant the seed is not the day you eat the fruit.
